Scarlet

Scarlet - Marissa Meyer I was picturing Travis Fimmel from Vikings as Wolf the entire time. Yeah. Hem.
Why should you read this book? Because it has not 1, but 2 kick-ass I-can-take-care-of-myself-thank-you heroines. It's fast, engaging, action-packed and filled with lotsa sci-fi and subtle winks to classic fairy tales. There's romance, violence, and intrigue. You probably will want to read "Cinder" beforehand but trust me, it's not like that's a chore either. It majorly sucks that the next book is coming out in a year, but it's called "Cress" and I'm truly fascinated and can't wait to find out what's next for these guys.
